Scopus guide

Scopus is a multidisciplinary database and so useful for most researchers. this guide will show you how to use it to find the information you are looking for.

Introduction to Scopus

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. It searches over 27,950 peer-reviewed journals (including over 6,126 open access journals) 11.6 million conference papers as well as trade publications, patents and book series. These cover 240 disciplines including those to do with medicine, science, technology, social science, arts & humanities. The below is taken from the Scopus fact sheet (pdf)

Accessing Scopus

If you are staff or student at Imperial College London, you can access Scopus through  Library Search. If accessing the database from outside Imperial you will need to log in with your Imperial login and password.
