Scopus guide

Scopus is a multidisciplinary database and so useful for most researchers. this guide will show you how to use it to find the information you are looking for.

Creating a Scopus account

You can create a free account with Scopus. Once you have done this, you will be able to create and save lists of documents, authors or sources, save your searches, set up alerts to be notified about new content or citations, customise the export features of your preferred reference manager software and manage your Elsevier account information and privacy options. 

Click on Create Account in the top right of the screen and then fill in your details. You will then be able to click on your initials to access the searches and alerts that you have saved.
